Job description

Custodian Positions at Holy Cross Catholic School

Under the direction and supervision of the school principal, custodians are responsible for maintaining the physical school building to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors.

We have two part-time, 12-month positions available:

• Daytime Custodian: 9am-12pm/1pm
• Evening Custodian: 4pm-7:30pm

Both positions are Monday-Friday. Shift hours may be adjusted during school breaks or for special events.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Physically able to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders
• Punctual, dependable, honest, and reliable
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Obtain Protection God's Children training if not already certified

Responsibilities/Duties

Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, restroom cleaning, carpet vacuuming, window washing, floor buffing, dusting, moving furniture, and other duties as assigned.
