Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center, Inc. is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and healthy environment at our Woodlawn headquarters. The site offers free parking and is near bus routes, secure, and well maintained.

The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay rate of $14.55 per hour. This not-for-profit organization provides an Employee Assistance Program and store discounts to employees.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Custodial experience preferred.
• Must know chemical and emergency procedures once trained.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs., prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching.

Job description

Our not-for-profit social service organization is seeking a Custodian to become a valuable member of our Goodwill team. If hired, you will become part of the team responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment on our headquarters at Woodlawn. This site offers free parking and it is located conveniently close to bus routes, is secure and in pristine condition.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School graduate or GED preferred.
• Experience: Custodial experience preferred. Floor experience is a plus.
• Knowledge: Must be able to work independently after being given a directive. Must know chemical and emergency procedures once trained.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs., prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching.
• Work Schedule: M-F (8:00 am to 4:30pm).
• Pay Rate: $ 14.55/ Hr.
