GRBS Inc. in Michigan is hiring a Lead Custodian for Ionia Public Schools. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday with one scheduled weekend per month, 40 hours weekly, 3:00pm–11:30pm.

Pay rate is $16.00/hour. You will lead a cleaning team, perform building walks, and ensure quality cleaning while maintaining safety and integrity. Ideal candidates show leadership, reliability, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid ID and able to pass background checks.
• Leadership experience preferred for a lead custodian role.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process and follow GRBS standards.
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable.
• Complete Building Walkdowns and nightly perimeter checks.
• Ensure timely cleaning tasks and supervise weekend coverage.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following full-time lead custodian opportunity available in Ionia Public Schools:

• Monday-Friday
• 1 scheduled weekend a month
• 3:00pm-11:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

LEAD Core Responsibilities:

• Execute the clean building process
• Finish the job with GRBS tools
• Complete 360 communication
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable
• Lead with integrity and humility
• Complete Building Walkdowns
• Nightly perimeter door checks

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
