Job summary

GRBS is hiring a Custodian Lead for the Portage Public Schools site in Portage, MI. This full-time 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday with one weekend per month, 3:00pm–11:30pm and a 40-hour work week.

Pay rate is $16.75 per hour, with duties including training new hires, staffing coordination, and site security. Responsibilities include cleaning tasks (mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash) and ensuring quality through walkthroughs and daily progress reports.

Qualifications

• Are you 18 years of age or older with valid ID and possess leadership experience?
• Background restrictions: Michigan public schools require no theft, violence or drug-related history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality; check work, walk-throughs, and daily progress photos
• Secure the building

We have the following full-time custodial supervisor opportunity available in Portage Public Schools:
