Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a Janitor to keep the workplace clean, organized, and disinfected. The role includes vacuuming, mopping, window cleaning, restroom upkeep, trash removal, and daily sanitation across offices and common areas. Must lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to safety.
• Ability to follow safety and precaution rules.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms and other work areas.
• Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture.
• Maintain furniture dust-free including lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and moldings.
• Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Wash and clean windows and mirrors.
• Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area.
• Clear sidewalks of trash and snow if necessary.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request missing materials if needed.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs.
• Maintain a cleaning chart of areas cleaned and inspected.
• Follow safety and precaution rules.
