Job summary

Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced custodial services worker to perform advanced housekeeping tasks and oversee routine operations to keep facilities healthy, safe, and sanitary. You will interact regularly with staff and may supervise others as assigned.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years of related experience; preferred is a valid Georgia driver's license.

Job Summary

Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

• Job Duty 1 - Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance


• Job Duty 2 - Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner


• Job Duty 3 - Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services


• Job Duty 4 - Respond to system-transmitted service requests


• Job Duty 5 - Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary


• Job Duty 6 - Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required


• Job Duty 7 - Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

Three to five years job related experience
