County College of Morris Foundation in Randolph Township, NJ is seeking a Custodian I (Evening) to maintain clean, safe campus facilities and support evening events.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, replenishing towels and soap, emptying trash, recycling, and cleaning entrances; assist day staff with set ups and snow/ice removal as needed.

Qualifications: high school diploma or equivalent desirable; 0–6 months custodial experience; shift 5:00 pm–1:30 am.

Responsabilités

• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust to keep campus buildings clean and safe
• Clean restrooms and replenish towels, tissues, and soap

• Assist with events and college activities by setting up spaces
• Clear snow and ice from entrances, walkways, patios and steps; apply calcium chloride
• Perform other duties as assigned by Custodial Supervisor

Performs a wide variety of routine cleaning duties at campus buildings which include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuum cleaning, dusting tasks & changing of light bulbs. Maintains rest rooms which includes cleaning of walls, sinks, fixtures, toilets & mirrors. Replenishes towels, tissues & soap dispensers. Empties garbage receptacles. Performs recycling duties when necessary. Cleans entrances to buildings. Includes glass on entrance doors & exterior areas to buildings. Polices areas around buildings for litter. Performs work orders assigned by the Custodial Supervisor which are associated with assisting the day custodial staff with set ups of special events & college activities. Clears snow & ice from entrance ways, walkways, patios & steps. Shovels or sweeps areas & applies calcium chloride. Performs other duties as assigned.
