Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care’s Environmental Services department is seeking a Custodian to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment for patients, guests, visitors and staff on campus in Iowa City.

This full-time position offers a regular on-campus schedule with 8:00 am to 4:30 pm hours and every other weekend/holiday rotations, a wage of $17.66 per hour, and a generous benefits package. Join a large academic medical center dedicated to Changing Medicine. Changing Lives. ®

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Desirable qualifications include previous cleaning experience, healthcare setting experience, and experience using cleaning equipment.

This position is performed fully on campus.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with every other weekend and holiday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
