San Bernardino City Unified School District in California is seeking a Custodian to perform custodial/janitorial tasks across school facilities. You will clean classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas, report repairs, and assist in setting up classrooms for events.
Responsibilities include light maintenance and ensuring security of school property. The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent and about one year of related experience, including driving as needed.
Under general supervision, perform custodial service requirements to maintain assigned buildings or facility areas in a clean, orderly, and secure manner.
Receives general supervision from a designated site manager or maintenance and operations management supervisor.
May receive functional and technical direction from a lead custodian.
Exercises no supervision.
Any combination equivalent to: sufficient training and education needed to acquire the knowledge and abilities listed above.
One (1) year work experience involving custodial/janitorial duties.

This is a non-exempt position, Regular Classified Salary Range 32. Most positions in this class work 8hours/12months. The probationary period for employees in this classification is six (6) months (or 130 working days of paid service).
