Job summary

Eastern Carver County Schools in Chaska, MN, is hiring a Custodian/Groundskeeper at Chaska High School to keep district facilities clean, safe, and well maintained. This role covers inside custodial work and groundskeeping duties across sites as needed.

ASAP start, Monday–Friday; 2:45pm–11:15pm during the school year for inside duties, and 6:00am–2:30pm in May–August for outside grounds work. Salary is $25.21/hr with a $0.40/hr shift differential when applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of Minnesota Boilers Licenses (class dependent on size of equipment) - within two years of placement.
• MN Register Unlicensed Electrician - within one year of placement.
• Pool Operator License if assigned building has a pool - within one year of placement.
• Certified Building Operator Certificate preferred.
• OSHA Standard, Right to Know, Blood Borne Pathogens (provided upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, perform cleaning and grounds keeping tasks utilizing various equipment to care for all district facilities and grounds.
• You may be assigned to work at different buildings depending on the needs of the district.

Position Start Date: ASAP
