Job summary

Lindentx is seeking a conscientious custodian to maintain the Operations Center and surrounding grounds in a healthy, safe, and sanitary condition. The role involves cleaning, basic maintenance, painting, and minor carpentry, with responsibilities to keep restrooms, windows, walls, and equipment in good order.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of handyman or general duties experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience performing custodial and handyman tasks is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean building and work areas; perform routine maintenance including painting and carpentry; sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors; wash windows and walls; clean restrooms; replace light bulbs; remove trash and debris.

Job description

FUNCTION: Responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the Operations Center and surrounding grounds are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Clean building and work areas; perform routine building maintenance tasks including painting and carpentry, sweep, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors; wash windows, walls, and equipment; clean restrooms; maintain janitorial supplies; replace light bulbs; remove trash and debris from internal and external areas of building; vacuums; moves furniture; any additional general custodian duties as assigned

Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instruction and to perform any other job-related duties requested by supervisor or management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. 0-1 year experience performing “handyman” or general duties

PHYSICAL EFFORT:

1. Employee lifts/carries up to 100 pounds occasionally (less than 5% of the time); lifts/carries 20 pounds frequently (34% - 66% of the time); lifts/carries 10 pounds constantly (67% - 100% of the time)

2. Position requires pushing a maximum force of 20 pounds and pulling a maximum of 20 pounds
