Job summary

HES is seeking General Cleaners to maintain cleanliness and upkeep across school facilities. The role involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, window cleaning, and general duties as assigned. You must have a strong work history, the ability to work with others, and sustain a physically demanding pace.

Education: High school degree preferred; experience is a plus. This role offers flexible shifts across 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts, school hours, and summer periods.

Qualifications

• Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physical requirements: lift up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally; extensive walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, and clean restrooms and locker rooms; clean windows and surfaces as directed.
• Handle trash, recycling, and general facility upkeep to support daily operations.
• Follow supervisor guidance; maintain safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
