Job summary

GRBS Inc. in Lansing, MI is seeking a Custodian for full-time days, 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday through Friday with one weekend per month. The position offers 40 hours weekly at $16.75 per hour and requires reliable, punctual team players.

Core duties include cleaning classrooms and common areas, mopping, dusting, restrooms, trash removal, and occasional Biohazard cleanup during the school day. A Certified Pool Operator license is required for pool upkeep.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with valid ID and able to work as scheduled.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.
• Commitment to GRBS processes and respectful communication.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently and on time.
• Follow GRBS processes and maintain professional conduct.
• Finish cleaning tasks according to the building map and shift.
• Mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash and handle light biohazard cleanup as needed.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following custodian opportunity available in Haslett Public Schools

• Monday - Friday and working 1 weekend a month
  • 7:00am-3:30pm
  • 40 hours per week
• Core Responsibilities:
  • Come to work consistently
  • Follow GRBS Process
  • Have mindful communication with respect to all
  • Finish the job to the building map and shift

Pay Rate: $16.75/hour

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• Answer Biohazard clean up calls during the school day
• Cleaning of common areas
• Dust mopping of hallways
• Lunch set up and take down (must be able to lift and move cafe tables)
• Pool Maintenance (Must be able to get Certified Pool Operator License)
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
