GRBS Inc. is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift to support Okemos Public Schools in East Lansing, MI. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and the ability to follow established cleaning protocols in a school environment.

The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with one weekend per month, exposure to a team-oriented work culture, and opportunities for growth. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $16.75 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and travel time benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Michigan public schools requirements disqualify individuals with theft, violence or drug-related backgrounds.
• Candidate must have valid auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Come to work consistently.
• Follow GRBS Process.
• Maintain mindful communication with respect to all.
• Complete duties per building map and shift.
• Mop, dust, clean restrooms, remove trash, and perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.

This position offers paid mileage reimbursement and travel time. Candidates MUST have valid proof of Auto Insurance.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following day custodian opportunities available in Okemos

• Monday - Friday and working 1 weekend a month
  • 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
• Core Responsibilities:
  • Come to work consistently

  • Have mindful communication with respect to all
  • Finish the job to the building map and shift

Pay Rate: $16.50 -$16.75 /hour

• Mopping
