Amentum is seeking a full-time Custodian located in Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Custodian will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities within a highly secure government setting.

The role covers routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, surfaces, and trash disposal, following daily task sheets and facility checklists. Requires US citizenship, high school diploma, and ability to obtain a government clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government-issued clearance at the time of application is required.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move for the full shift.
• Physically able to lift and carry standard facilities equipment and full trash bins.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean all bathroom and kitchenette spaces daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, and polish floors in assigned areas weekly.
• Clean and vacuum under desks, hallways, conference rooms, and open workspaces several times per week.
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet high and dust surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash 2–3 times daily.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across assigned areas.
• Adhere to daily task sheets and facility checklists.

This role covers routine cleaning, restrooms, floors, surfaces, and trash disposal within a highly secure government environment.

Job Requirements

• Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean all bathroom and kitchenette spaces daily
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, and polish floors in assigned areas, according to the weekly plan
• Clean and vacuum under desks, hallways, conference rooms, and open workspaces multiple times per week or upon request
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet high and systematically dust all other surfaces
• Remove and dispose of trash from all areas 2-3 times daily
• Replenish supplies throughout the restrooms in the facility
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment properly
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across assigned areas
• Adhere strictly to provided daily task sheets and facility checklists

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government-issued clearance at the time of application

• Regular bending, kneeling, and executing repetitive motions to clean surfaces

Compensation Details:

$19-27/hourly USD
