Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers is seeking a Custodian to maintain clean and welcoming travel plazas across our network. The role involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a pleasant, hygienic experience for travelers.

The position supports flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for full or part-time hours. Candidates should have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact with the public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties throughout the plaza to ensure a clean, hygienic environment for customers.
• Clean toilets, walls, windows, tables, refrigerators and other equipment using appropriate methods.
• Remove trash and maintain a clean lobby and dining area.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas and assist with loading/unloading supplies as needed.
• Follow security, sanitation, and safety procedures.
