Job summary

Goodwill Southern California is seeking a reliable custodian to perform the full range of cleaning duties at contract locations and to drive company vehicles between sites.

Responsibilities include floor stripping and waxing, window washing, restroom cleaning, and maintaining equipment. Local travel up to 25% may be required; pre-employment checks (drug screen, background, MVR) apply.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Punctual and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including floor stripping and waxing, window washing, pressure washing and restroom cleaning.
• Maintains clean and sanitary conditions throughout.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies in neat, orderly condition.
• Interacts cooperatively with personnel and customers.
• Immediately advises supervisor when Government staff directs changes in contract requirements.
• Perform local travel (25%) as required; may drive a personal vehicle or a site‑specific company vehicle. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and state‑required auto insurance, with driving records that meet the company’s insurance standards.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
