Qualifications

• Elementary school level acceptable; high school equivalency preferred.
• Ability to work in all areas of the facility.
• Willingness to perform housekeeping tasks (sweep, mop, vacuum, disinfect, wash walls/windows).

Responsibilities

• Keeping the facility in a sanitary, odorless and pleasant condition for residents/patients and staff
• Sweep, damp mop and vacuum floors
• Receive and understand verbal and written assignments in order to carry out tasks successfully
• Must be able to work in all areas of the facility
• Deliver packages and articles when required
• Wash walls and windows inside and out
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect vacated resident rooms. Reset room to a welcoming condition.
• Follow proper line of communication according to chain of command. Exercise good judgment when accomplishing tasks where resident/patient or employees may be involved
• Ensure the residents/patients right to privacy
