Qualifications

• Must pass HBM prescreen check.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle.
• Previous janitorial/custodian experience preferred, and willing to train.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Good public relations and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively in English with team members and property managers.
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas within the building.
• Clean restrooms, parking lot, walk paths, and restock supplies.
• Remove and dispose of trash to designated areas.
• Use pressure wash machine for exterior surfaces.
• Operate leaf blower as required.
• Push trash bins as needed and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Use a smartphone to upload information, email, and respond to calls/texts.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The position demands physical endurance, as custodians stand and walk for extended period of their work shift, and push trash bins to designated disposal areas. Tech-savvy custodians utilize smartphones for online information uploads, email communication, and responding to calls and texts, keeping the digital side of operations smooth. A keen eye for detail is essential for following safety procedures and identifying/reporting issues such as burnt light bulbs, ensuring the building remains in top shape. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: Monday 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM, Tuesday/Thursday: 6:00am-2:30pm, Wednesday and Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM (34 hours a week)

Hourly rate:

• $17.00

Key Responsibilities:

• Report safety issues or building problems (i.e. burnt light bulbs, etc.)
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must pass HBM prescreen check
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent ispreferred
• Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
• Previous janitorial, custodian experience or related experience is preferred, and willing to train
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Must have good public relations skills and communication
• Applicants must perform basic manual labor, clean common areas, press, push, pull, frequently lift 40lbs, carry a minimum of 25lbs (up to 50lbs), be able to reach overhead, grasp objects, bend, kneel, walk, crawl, squat, climb, stretch, walk up and down the stairs and use a ladder climb up and down and stand throughout their shifts.
