Jefferson County Public Schools seeks qualified custodians to support district facilities. Current JCPS Custodians and Substitute Custodians may submit bids for this position, with internal bids considered before 10/16/2026.

The role covers 261 working days per year at 8.0 hours per day. Pay ranges from $16.13 to $19.24 per hour, plus a $3.50 per hour critical need stipend, and duties include cleaning and housekeeping in district buildings under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning (housekeeping) tasks in schools and office buildings.
• Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment.
• Effective communication skills.
