Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking a Custodian (2nd Shift) for Coral Ridge Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. The position includes 261 workdays at 8.0 hours per day, with a salary range of $16.13 to $19.24 per hour and a $3.50 per hour critical need stipend.

Internal bids are encouraged from current JCPS custodians and substitutes by the closing date of 10/29/2026. This on-site role involves housekeeping tasks across district buildings under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D required.

• Ability to perform basic commercial cleaning (housekeeping)tasks in schools and office buildings
• Ability to use/operate commercial cleaning equipment
• Effective Communication Skills
