Champaign Unit 4 School District is seeking a Custodian for the 2nd shift at Central High School. This year-round role runs 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on school days and 7:30 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. during breaks, supporting a safe and clean learning environment. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, and can use standard hand tools, climb a ladder, and lift over 30 pounds.

Compensation

• The hourly wage for this position is determined based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Educational Support Professionals, which is available on our website. The District gives experienced employees up to 20 years of experience credit for service outside the District if it is directly related to their position. 100% of an employee's contributions to IMRF are currently paid by the Board of Education. The Board also pays 100% of employee-only health and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Dental is also available at competitive rates to interested employees. There are opportunities for employees to earn additional compensation during the regular school year and in the summer.

• This is a year-round position. Hours during the school year are Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m. (2nd Shift). Hours during Summer and Holiday Breaks are from 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
