Job summary

thyssenkrupp Bilstein of America is seeking a dedicated custodial professional to maintain a clean and safe production environment in Hamilton, Ohio. The role covers floor care, maintenance cage cleaning, spill response, and incident-free operations to support manufacturing activities.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, demonstrates reliability, and can work both independently and with a team to meet daily cleaning targets and event setups.

Responsibilities

• Clean production facility floors with floor scrubber and mop.
• Clean maintenance cage and equipment areas; remove debris.
• Handle spills and assist with minor cleaning emergencies.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and tidy entryways.
• Set up rooms for events and meetings; move tables and chairs.
• Support custodial staff when others are absent; empty trash and clean areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Your responsibilities

Summary:

As part of the custodial staff, is responsible for keeping production floors clean and free of oil, maintaining and cleaning of the maintenance cage to include the floors, machinery, refrigerator and upstairs office area. Maintains cleanliness of parking lots, back of the plant, outside of Technical Center to include emptying of all outside trash receptacles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleans production facility floors using Zamboni, floor scrubber and dust mop.
• Cleans maintenance cage equipment and floors to eliminate unwanted debris.
• Cleans up emergency spills and handles minor emergency cleaning duties when observed and or requested.
• Washes outside and inside windows in the plant. Uses broom to remove cobwebs above windows and outside entry ways into the plant.
• Assists in the set-up, arranges tables and chairs in preparation for events and meetings.
• Supports the custodial staff when members are absent by filling in to empty trash bins and clean bathrooms and dining areas.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills needed.
• Proven team building skills and ability to coordinate activities.
• Solid record of exercising independent judgment & initiative.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment to deliver results.
