Job Summary

Physically cleans and performs custodial care of the main office 1 weekday (mid-week) and weekend and 1 day weekend or afterhours on Friday at the Range Warehouse. Ensures a clean, orderly plant and office environment. May perform routine maintenance on equipment and make minor repairs to premises and furnishings. This is a part-time position generally ranging between 6-10 hours per week. Work is primarily performed after regular business hours. The employee must be dependable and able to complete assigned duties within the established cleaning schedule.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities And Expectations

• Cleans plant and office buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying trash.
• Washes all windows and entry door handles as needed and at least three times per year.
• Cleans break room including dishwashing using the under-cabinet dishwasher
• Spot clean carpeting as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance including replacing light bulbs, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures and performing simple repairs to furnishings as needed.
• Maintains clean and orderly supply room, orders cleaning supplies and paper products. Stocks restrooms and kitchen areas with appropriate paper products.
• Submit timesheets, business expenses & other time sensitive documents in a timely manner.
• Follows all building security procedures, including safeguarding keys and access credentials, properly securing doors and windows, activating or deactivating alarm systems as assigned, and promptly reporting suspicious activity or security concerns.
• Safely uses, labels, stores, and disposes of cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions, Safety Data Sheets, and company procedures. Uses required personal protective equipment and displays appropriate warning signage when cleaning floors or addressing spills.
• Respects the privacy of employee workspaces and maintains confidentiality regarding documents, conversations, business activities, and other information encountered while performing duties. Does not open drawers, cabinets, files, or electronic equipment unless specifically authorized.
• Performs all other related duties assigned by management. *

Education And Experience

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial experience preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS And WORKING CONDITIONS

This role performs assigned work duties within a general office environment. Employees are protected from weather conditions or contaminants, but not necessarily occasional temperature changes. Other functions and demands include the following:

• Occasional use of a computer, mobile device, or electronic timekeeping system for communication, supply ordering, training, and submission of time records.
• Hearing, listening, talking, standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, squatting, balancing, pushing/pulling, and climbing stairs are all expectations of this role, although some of these functions may be more seldom performed than others.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance or the use of appropriate equipment.
• Must be able to work in various working conditions. This factor measures the surroundings or physical conditions under which a job must be done and the extent to which those conditions make the job disagreeable.
