HX5, LLC is seeking a Janitor at the NASA Neil Armstrong Test Facility in Sandusky, OH. The role involves cleaning, maintenance of rooms and common areas, and support for the TFOME III team in aeronautics and propulsion test facilities.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, and fixtures, restocking supplies, and handling waste. Must be US citizen and pass a background check; benefits include healthcare and 401(k). This is a full-time, on-site position at the Sandusky facility.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to work in varied body positions for extended time.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to use PPE including hearing and vision protection.
• Able to work in all weather and environments; confined spaces possible.
• 0–2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and keeping in an orderly condition of rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Washing windows, door panels, and sills; cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, trim, and metalwork.
• Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash to disposal area.
• Replenishing custodial and cleaning supplies.
• Other duties as required, may shovel walkways.

The Test Facilities Operation, and Engineering (TFOME III) Team, which includes Troy7, Sierra Lobo, HX5, Amentum & MSM, is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate heavy equipment for the purpose of construction, demolition, or excavation. The TFOME team provides engineering and technical services in the aeronautics, space power, and propulsion test facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and keeping in an orderly condition, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

Qualifications: Must have a combination of the following education and experience:

• Thorough knowledge of cleaning supplies
• Ability to work while bending, standing, stooping, kneeling, or in a prone position for extended time periods
• Ability to lift/ carry items sometime up and down stairways and push/ pull heavy objects
• Ability to use PPE, hearing, and vision protection.
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions, high and low temperatures, indoors and outdoors, in hot, humid, dusty, noisy, dirty, and greasy environments, as well as, areas where there may be materials that are irritating to eyes, nose, throat, and skin while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. It may also require working in closely confined spaces.
• Requires a minimum of zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience.

Other Position Requirement: Must be a US Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
