Job summary

Interstate Premier, a family-owned Janitorial and maintenance company, is seeking a reliable Custodian to work at client sites with a 6:00PM–4:30AM schedule (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat). The role involves cleaning, sanitizing, trash removal, floor care, and operating cleaning equipment, with duties varying by site.

Candidates must be self-motivated, able to work independently, have reliable transportation, be legally authorized to work in the United States, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.
• Prolonged periods of standing
• Requires frequent bending and reaching from waist.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and disinfecting bathrooms, breakrooms, and other areas.
• Removal of trash and replacement of trash can linings.
• Completion of assigned cleaning areas according to schedule.
• Overall floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpets.
• Use and maintenance of equipment such as pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, vacuums.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: 6:00PM to 4:30AM Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, and disinfecting bathrooms, breakrooms, and other assigned areas.
• Responsible for the removal of trash and replacement of trash can linings.
• Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule.
• Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonusing) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.
• Use and properly maintain equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other similar equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned.
