Overview
The Custodian is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the building and its grounds.
Responsibilities
Primary:
- Maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for clients, staff, and the public
- Communicating information in response to inquiries
- Providing equipment and furniture arrangements for meetings, clinical activities, and events
- Maintaining facilities to minimize deterioration and damage
Secondary:
- Responsible for the safe and orderly operation of the facilities
- Providing excellent customer service
- Participating in monthly inspections to ensure compliance with requirements, cleanliness, and proper upkeep
- Ensuring that the facility is clean and always maintained
- Strongly and enthusiastically supporting and participating in advocacy and direct action to end the twin crises of AIDS and homelessness
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Dependable and flexible with a high level of confidentiality
- Obtain S95 certification within the first 90 days of employment
- Basic emailing knowledge

$18/hour
