Job summary

Marotta Controls, a New Jersey manufacturing leader, is hiring a Custodian/Facilities Team Member for our Parsippany corporate offices. This on-site role supports cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across offices, production areas, labs, and more.

You will join a collaborative team, perform daily cleaning tasks, assist with facility projects, and contribute to a safe, organized workspace while benefiting from comprehensive compensation and scheduled overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of custodial/janitorial experience (manufacturing setting preferred).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and cleaning product instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors, walls, ceilings, windows, and restrooms
• Restock supplies in restrooms, break areas, and photocopiers
• Safely use vacuums, mops, scrubbing and buffing machines
• Support the Facilities Team with projects like furniture moves, assembly, and seasonal tasks
• Help with outdoor maintenance, snow removal, and off-hour facility work
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment for all

This position is at our Parsippany, NJ corporate offices location.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00/hour
