The Big Y Foods, Inc. Middletown store is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety for customers and employees. You will perform cleaning tasks, monitor safety protocols, and help create a welcoming shopping environment.

Job description

Location:MIDDLETOWN,CT(850 South Main Street)

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance by ensuring the overall store cleanliness and safety that creates a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for both our customers and employees.

• Ability to represent and support Big Y’s culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision.
• Supports Big Y’s commitment to Culture & Belonging.
• Must project a clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery (refer to minor guidelines where appropriate).
