Job summary

Sodexo in the Michigan City area is seeking a Custodian to deliver high-quality cleaning service, support healthy environments, and act as an appearance-care ambassador with a customer-service mindset. The role is full-time with weekday afternoon/evening shifts and requires reliability and teamwork.

You may perform housekeeping across client sites including offices, classrooms, dorms, patients' rooms, common areas, restrooms, and food service spaces.

• Team-oriented, adaptable and reliable mindset.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks across client locations.

Responsibilities

• May provide housekeeping services in offices, classrooms, dorms, and other areas across client premises.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks to keep areas clean and safe.
• May drive a golf cart or other vehicles.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts with regular attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client needs.

What You’ll Do:

As an Custodian at Sodexo, you are an appearance care ambassador and hygiene hero. You will deliver a high-quality cleaning service with a customer service smile to create a safe and healthy environment. Your passion for cleaning has a positive impact for those around you.

Responsibilities include:

• May provide housekeeping services in any location on client premises, including offices, patients’/residents’ rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention
• Complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks, ensuring all areas of the site are glistening.
• May drive a golf cart or other vehicles.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
