Job summary

Our-Sunday-Visitor is seeking a Custodian in Huntington, IN to perform general cleaning of office and production areas, including vacuuming, trash removal, dusting and window care. This is a full-time union position under a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Pay starts at $17.15 per hour with increases after six months to $19.54, and shifts include 2nd (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) and 3rd (11:00 PM–7:00 AM). Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle to make pickup and deliveries.
• Perform other duties as described by supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Able to work with solvents and cleaning liquids.
• Maintain 5S and a safe work environment.
• Work in a multitude of environments – outdoor, indoor, confined spaces, heights and all weather conditions.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Work overtime or any shift as required.
• Work from heights.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
