Job summary

NRI Distribution in Henderson, NV is seeking a dedicated custodial associate to keep our distribution center clean, safe, and organized. The role requires independence, punctuality, and the ability to work a set schedule.

You’ll disinfect areas, sweep, mop, wash restrooms, and assist warehouse staff with restocking and light maintenance. A high school diploma and reliable English reading skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to read/comprehend English.
• Physical ability to perform duties in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Disinfect areas throughout the distribution center daily.

What does success look like in this role

The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and have great time management skills. They should be able to proactively identify areas that are in need of housekeeping and any safety issues and feel comfortable calling them out to someone on the leadership team so they can address them immediately .

The following schedule is available for this role

Monday - Friday: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

The Must Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, sitting for long periods of time, occasionally walking, and standing, climbing ladders/stairs, and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc. when stepping into the warehouse
• Must be able to read/comprehend English

Things You Will be Doing

• Disinfect various areas throughout the distribution center throughout the day, and keep the building neat, clean, free from clutter, and safe.
• Pick up and remove trash, sweep, mop, vacuum, and use industrial cleaning equipment to clean multiple areas, including cleaning and stocking restrooms, beams, stairways, windows, etc.
• Assist warehouse staff with restocking packing stations, fixing corrugated pallets, and other related duties as assigned
• Report minor maintenance issues immediately to the supervisor or manager
• Continually responsible for maintaining current housekeeping procedures and practicing all safety procedures
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager
