Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Custodian in Hawthorne, CA for a part-time role. The position offers $18.00 per hour and a daytime schedule with two options (Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or Tue-Thu full days).

You will perform cleaning tasks to keep floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and entrances clean and safe, restock supplies, and follow established safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow directions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Dust, wipe down, and disinfect surfaces.
• Restock restroom and janitorial supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances and outdoor walkways.
• Follow established safety and cleaning procedures.
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned.
