Retro Fitness in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a dependable Custodian/Janitor to maintain clean and safe workout areas, locker rooms, bathrooms, showers, and common areas. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and proper disposal of waste, with opportunities to advance and develop skills.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays is often needed.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods.
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies.

• Follow proper cleaning and safety procedures when using cleaning products and equipment.
• Help maintain an organized and professional appearance throughout the facility.
• Perform additional cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
