SuiteMate Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dependable Custodian in Dallas, TX for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Tuesday–Saturday). The role requires experience in cleaning, ability to operate commercial equipment, and strong attention to safety and detail.

The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned facilities. Ideal candidates will be able to work independently, be punctual, and demonstrate physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

SuiteMate Staffing Solutions is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of assigned facilities in Dallas, TX.

The ideal candidate will have previous custodial or janitorial experience, knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, and the ability to operate commercial cleaning equipment safely. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout assigned facilities.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.

Clean offices, hallways, common areas, windows, and partitions.

Shampoo carpets and perform routine floor maintenance.

Operate cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.

Collect, empty, and properly dispose of trash and recyclable materials.

Dust, clean, and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.

Properly use, measure, and store cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.

Follow established cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and workplace safety regulations.

Identify and report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment.

Perform additional custodial duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Knowledge of standard cleaning methods, sanitation procedures, and cleaning products.

Experience operating vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other cleaning equipment.

Understanding of workplace safety rules and occupational hazards.

Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required for assigned duties.

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.

Dependable, punctual, and capable of working independently.

Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
