SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian in Concord, NC to ensure cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role requires performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety rules in a team setting.

Qualifications include 3–6 months of training or experience preferred; a valid driver's license may be required for duties involving driving to sites. Bilingual ability is a plus; strong communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Education/experience: No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination.
• Certificates, licenses: Valid driver's license may be required; drive as part of duties if needed; ensure MVR and eligibility.
• Safety: Completed all safety and task training certification; forklift certification may be required.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bilingual a plus; ability to read instructions; strong communication; knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Handle Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Communicate professionally with lead, supervisor, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Fill in during staff shortage and support shift lead in punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment and present a professional appearance.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction; may need to drive to various work locations.

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Fill in during staff shortage
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Use proper personal protective equipment
• Present a professional appearance and conduct
• Understand customer service and satisfaction
• The ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

Education and/ or Experience: No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties must maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and meet company driving eligibility requirements.

Completed all safety and task training certification.

May be required to be forklift certified.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bilingual a plus

Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team

Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment

Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Shifts and Compensation

1st shift Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm $16.00- $17.00 per hour

3rd shit Monday to Friday from 11:30pm to 07:30am $16.00-$17.00 per hour
