Thomas MacLaren School is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, gym, and hallways. You will follow safety protocols and work with the Custodial Manager to support a safe, welcoming school environment.

This hourly position pays $16.00–$19.00 per hour. Benefits are provided for employees working 30+ hours per week, including base health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and AD&D.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily custodial operations including cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, stairways, corridors, closets, gymnasium, locker rooms, and lobbies
• Follow Universal Standard Precautions and safety protocol when appropriate
• Maintain the upkeep of the facility and furniture to include repairs, painting, and cleaning, including the management of waste disposal
• Assist the facility manager in the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the facility
• Perform routine and special project work on the facility and grounds (e.g., building drama set for school play)
• Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance
• Attend all training as assigned by Facility Manager
• Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

No benefits are provided to employees contracted for less than 30 hours per week.

General Purpose:

Maintain the proper upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings and grounds; maintain the utility infrastructure of the school campus.

Education:
