Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members and staff. The role involves daily cleaning of all club areas and assisting guests as needed.

Responsibilities include inventorying supplies, finishing a daily cleaning checklist, and maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor at all times. CPR/AED certification is required or obtainable within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all club areas including equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club.
• Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletries.
• Daily completion of itemized cleaning checklist as set forth by GM/ AGM.
• Assist with service to members and guests as required.
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude toward staff, members, and guests.

Custodian | Fit Fusion

Overview

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, club staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of all areas of the club, including but not not limited to fitness equipment, locker rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness on the immediate exterior of the club.
• Stock and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other necessary items for the facility.
• Daily completion of any itemized checklist of cleaning responsibilities as set forth by the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
• Assist with service to the members and guests when required.
• Maintain friendly and helpful attitude to all club staff, members, and guests.
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage daily tasks and priorities.
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift or move up to 50lb.
• Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking.
• Ability to bend, crouch, and reach to perform cleaning tasks in various areas of the facility.

Reporting Structure

• Reports directly to the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
