Job summary

CYM Living LLC is seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain cleanliness and safety across multiple residential properties. The role involves daily upkeep of common areas, light maintenance, seasonal groundskeeping, and snow removal.

Candidates must travel between properties, respond to work orders, and participate in an on-call rotation including evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with full-time benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial, janitorial, facilities, or property maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of assigned residential properties, including hallways, stairwells, basements, laundry rooms, and other common areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment and tools.
• Remove trash, debris, and refuse from interior and exterior areas.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms and common-area fixtures.
• Wash interior windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
• Perform seasonal snow and ice removal from walkways and parking areas.
• Cut grass and assist with general groundskeeping.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including painting and minor repairs.
• Provide basic pest control support as directed.
• Reset breakers and assist tenants when instructed.
• Open access areas for utility providers as directed.
• Complete and close out work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Track time properly using the company timekeeping system.
• Follow all company safety and security procedures.
• Occasionally assist with showing vacant units to prospective tenants.
• Travel between assigned properties throughout the workday.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends as scheduled.

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to support the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our residential properties. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for our residents.

This is a hands-on position responsible for the daily upkeep of common areas, light maintenance support, seasonal groundskeeping, and snow removal. The Custodian is expected to take ownership of assigned properties, work independently, and respond promptly to work orders and property needs.

This position requires travel between multiple properties throughout the day and participation in an on-call rotation to address after-hours emergencies. We are looking for someone who shows up consistently, works with urgency, and takes pride in maintaining high standards across every property they service.

SALARY RANGE: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
