Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated housekeeping associate to maintain cleanliness and order across facilities. You will sanitize bathrooms, clean kitchens, wash dishes, and ensure surfaces are polished and stocked.

The role involves floor care, window cleaning, laundry tasks, and regular trash removal to support a safe, welcoming environment. No formal education is required, and applicants with six months of housekeeping experience or equivalent training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings and grounds daily
• Cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets, mirrors and replenishes supplies
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops and waxes floors; cleans windows and dusts furniture
• Cleans kitchen/dining area, washes dishes, defrosts refrigerator, cleans stoves and ovens
• Stocks pantry items and handles laundry as needed
