Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern NH, White Mountain Early Learning Center, seeks a club custodian to work 15-20 hours weekly. Duties include cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring a sanitary facility for children.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and maintenance processes and safety.
• Experience cleaning up after large groups (e.g., schools, recreation buildings).
• High accuracy and attention to detail in performing duties.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Must be a team player and collaborative.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dusts and mops floors.
• Vacuums carpets.
• Cleans restrooms and restocks supplies.
• Follows procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Empties trash and replaces bags.
• Cleans windows, partitions, and mirrors.
• May change light bulbs on request.
• Maintains a safety-conscious attitude while performing duties.
• Ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• May perform basic building maintenance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central and Northern New Hampshire, White Mountain Early Learning Center, is looking for a club custodian to work during non-club hours, 15-20 hours per week, with primary responsibilities to ensure that the facility is safe, organized, clean and that it meets sanitary requirements. The club custodian will also address basic facility maintenance needs.

What You'll Do

• Dusts and mops floors
• Vacuums carpets
• Cleans restrooms and restocks paper and soap supplies
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Empties trash and replaces trash bags
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment
• May change light bulbs when requested
• Maintains a safety conscious attitude in performing duties
• Ensures proper use and maintenance of equipment
• May perform basic building maintenance as needed
• Other duties as assigned
