Charles D. Sheehy is seeking a dependable Custodian to maintain the office and distribution center spaces in New England. You will help keep these areas clean, safe, and organized, ensuring a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

The role involves sweeping, mopping, restroom sanitation, trash disposal, and safe use of cleaning chemicals. A 50+ lb lift capability and teamwork are essential, with competitive pay and benefits on offer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of custodial experience preferred.
• Familiarity with different types of commercial cleaning supplies.
• Experience using floor cleaning machines.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long periods.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to read and write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Keep the building and surrounding property clean and organized.
• Sweep, mop, and operate floor scrubbers.
• Sanitize and restock restrooms and kitchen areas.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Report maintenance issues to the Facilities Director and Distribution Manager.
• Assist with minor maintenance and inspections.
• Perform other duties as needed.
