Job summary

Aramark at NRG Park in Houston, TX is seeking a Custodial Worker-Pressure Washer to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming venue for guests and events.

You will operate commercial pressure washers, clean seating bowls and hard surfaces, and perform post-event cleaning while following OSHA safety rules. This role also requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments to prepare the facility for guests and events. Experience in stadiums is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stadium surface cleaning and pressure washing seating bowls, concrete areas, stairs, ramps and walkways.
• Perform post-event cleaning to remove spills, debris and stains to restore cleanliness.
• Operate and maintain pressure washers, surface cleaners and related equipment.
• Follow OSHA, safety procedures and set up work zones to protect guests and staff.
• Coordinate with facility teams to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on schedule.

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs

Job Responsibilities

• Stadium Surface Cleaning
• Pressure wash and clean stadium seating bowls, concrete concourses, stairwells, ramps, plazas, entry gates, pedestrian walkways, service roads, loading docks, and other hard-surface areas.
• Event Recovery Operations
• Perform post-event cleaning to remove spills, food and beverage residue, dirt, mud, grease, gum, and other debris to restore stadium areas to cleanliness standards.
• Stain and Gum Removal
• Utilize specialized equipment and approved chemicals to remove gum, stains, grease, oil, beverage spills, biological matter, and other contaminants from concrete and seating surfaces.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance
• Operate and maintain commercial-grade pressure washers, surface cleaners, water recovery systems, hot water units, vacuums, and other specialty cleaning equipment. Conduct daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
• Safety and Compliance
• Follow all OSHA, facility, and company safety procedures. Set up appropriate barricades, warning signage, and restricted work zones to protect guests, staff, and contractors during cleaning operations.
• Facility Presentation
• Assist in maintaining overall venue appearance by identifying cleaning deficiencies, safety hazards, damaged surfaces, and areas requiring additional attention.
• Team Coordination
• Work closely with facility management, housekeeping supervisors, event operations, and maintenance teams to ensure all cleaning assignments are completed on schedule and to established quality standards.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and work continuously for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to operate heavy-duty pressure washing equipment and manage high-pressure hoses safely.
• Comfortable working in elevated seating areas, ramps, and large outdoor environments.

Experience

• One to two years of experience in pressure washing, facility maintenance, stadium operations, industrial cleaning, or commercial custodial services preferred.
• Experience working in sports, entertainment, convention, or large public venues is a plus.

Professional Conduct

• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintains a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the organization.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of pressure washing equipment and cleaning chemicals.
• Experience with large-scale concrete cleaning and stain removal.
• Understanding of stadium operations and event turnover requirements.

Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments to prepare the facility for guests and events.
