Job summary

US-Air-Combat-Command at Langley AFB is seeking a flexible, part-time custodian to perform the full range of cleaning duties in assigned areas. The role requires ability to work up to 40 hours per week with no guaranteed hours and may involve heavy lifting and ladder use.

Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and successfully complete a pre-employment physical and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Target start is based on scheduling and base needs.

• Must be able to perform the full range of cleaning duties.
• Must be able to follow oral and/or written instructions involving duties with several distinct tasks or steps.
• Must be physically able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighting 50 pounds or more.
• Must be able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

About the position:

This is a Flexible (part-time) position and will be assigned to the Eaglewood Golf Course on Langley AFB, VA. The employee can be scheduled between 0 and up to 40 hours per week. There are no guaranteed hours.

The purpose of this position is to perform the full range of custodial duties in an assigned area. Moderately heavy physical effort is required. Heavy lifting occasionally 50 pounds or more; pushing and moving furniture; work from ladders.
