Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company in North Carolina is seeking a Custodial Technician to maintain a clean, safe plant and office environment. You will perform routine cleaning, waste removal, and operate basic equipment on a morning shift (Mon-Thu 6:00am–4:30pm).

Earn $15.50–$19.50 per hour and contribute to high standards of housekeeping. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, disposing of trash, operating floor scrubber and cardboard compactor, and reporting any issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• The ability to demonstrate basic reading and writing comprehension.
• The ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform various clean up and janitorial duties throughout the plant and office areas.
• Sweep and clean all floor surfaces as required.
• Clean outside surfaces and grounds of dirt and debris.
• Transport and empty trash and scrap bins.
• Operate the floor scrubber.
• Operate cardboard compactor machine.
• Operator trash compactor machine.
• Maintain a good standard of housekeeping.
• Report any unusual mechanical or operational conditions to the appropriate personnel.
• Regular and reliable attendance is expected and required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
