Job summary

CGT Staffing is seeking a Custodial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities. You will perform heavy cleaning tasks, manage floors, and ensure sanitary conditions to create a welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires attention to detail, familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year of janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
• Experience using industrial cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, seal, wax, and shampoo floors and furniture.
• Pressure wash restrooms and other designated areas.
• Operate scrubbing machines and vacuums.
• Wash interior and exterior surfaces and windows.
• Set up and clean for events.
• Notify supervisor about supplies and reorder as needed.
• Lock doors, secure premises, and turn off lights.
