Job summary

Goodwill South Florida is seeking a dedicated custodial professional to join our facilities team in the Miami area. This full-time role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe environment for clients and staff while supporting the AbilityOne program’s goals.

Responsibilities include restroom and office cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and use of supplied cleaning chemicals. A background check is required; 1 year of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Keep the assigned area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Prepare chemicals for use in the performance of various cleaning tasks, in accordance with instructions.
• Care for equipment and perform routine maintenance and cleaning as needed.
• Perform cleaning duties as instructed and assigned, including but not limited to: Restroom cleaning, replenishing paper products, and soap in restrooms. Office cleaning, empty trash receptacles, dust surfaces, damp wipe surfaces, vacuum, sweep. Removal of trash. Floor cleaning includes sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, and wet mopping.
• Performance of cleaning duties may take place in an indoor/outdoor environment, depending on the customer’s needs.
