Job summary

Evapco is seeking a Custodian to maintain the cleanliness of our Facilities and support production needs. You will follow safety standards, use the CMMS system, and document work orders for facility upkeep.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and a commitment to high service levels. Ideal candidates have 0–1 year custodial experience, a High School diploma or GED, and the ability to read drawings and BOMs.

Qualifications

• 0 - 1 year of work experience in the custodial environment or equivalent work experience and education.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings and BOM’s required
• Use and understanding of various measuring devices, common to support the equipment used in our production processes.
• Has demonstrated the ability to recognize problems
• Can deal with conflict in a positive manner
• Word, Excel knowledge and ability to learn all EVAPCO software-based programs

Responsibilities

• Promote cleanliness of the Facility and maintain internal and external areas.
• Communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and supervision of job assignments.
• Adhere to Safety Standards required by Evapco and use CMMS for equipment tracking.
• Document work orders with required information for sustainability of Facility fixtures and structure.
• Support production priorities by solving problems efficiently and adapt to changes.
• Maintain operation of facility lavatories, sinks, and water fountains.

Job description

This position will be directly responsible for performing activities that promote the internal and external cleanliness of the Facilities.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

• Safety: Execute and comply with all Safety Standards required by Evapco.
• Quality: Complete job tasks to provide the highest level of performance to ensure cleanliness of Facility
• Exceptional Customer Service Required.
• Efficiently and effectively communicate with customers, teammates, and supervision of job assignments, continuous improvement ideas, and critical Facility situations.
• Ensures operation of Facility lavatories, sinks, and water fountains through utilization of the CMMS system.
• Document work order completion with all required information for sustainability of Facility fixtures and structure

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:

• We are seeking an individual with a desire to learn, grow, and provide fanatical customer service to our Production Team.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Primarily works at ground level, by requires periodic working at up to 12 feet on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts.
• Frequent lifting all under 50 lbs.
• Some work requires crawling, squatting, bending, kneeling, and working in awkward positions at times.
• Requires good mechanical hand coordination and cognitive abilities.
• Temperature Extremes, in general, from 20° F. to 110° F.
• Requires very good agility (i.e. bending, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, squatting, twisting, and lifting)
• Normal work week Monday through Friday, Saturday work likely, some Sunday work

Pay Range:$46,750.08 - $51,667.20 per year
