A-Action Facility Services Inc. is seeking Custodial Support Staff to perform custodial tasks in a daycare environment in Atlanta, GA. The role requires responsibility, routine cleaning, and the ability to work around school-age children in a safe, controlled setting.

The position is full-time with a schedule Monday to Friday, 2pm–7pm, offering health, life, and vision insurance. Candidates should have at least 1 year of janitorial/housekeeping experience and be able to handle physical tasks

Qualifications

• 1 year janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work around school-age children.
• Willingness to follow PPE requirements.
• Capable of lifting and performing physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare spaces for the next day by taking out trash and tidying furniture.
• Sweep, mop floors and vacuum carpets.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers; restock disposables (e.g. soap).
• Wipe mirrors and windows.
• Maintain outer premises by watering plants and mowing the lawn.
• Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by pests.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs; report major damages.
• Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and setting the alarm.
• Occasionally undertake custodial tasks such as shoveling snow and moving chairs.

W e are looking for responsible custodians to maintain and protect our facilities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. Theywill have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence is also imperative incustodial maintenance jobs. Responsibility

• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers and restock disposables (e.g. soap)
• Wipe mirrors and windows
• Maintain outer premises by watering plants, mowing lawn, cleaning entrances
• Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs (replacing broken switches, fixing door handles, minor leaks etc.)
• Report major damages and oversee repairs
• Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, closing windows and setting up the alarm
• Undertake occasional custodial and janitorial tasks (shoveling snow from the sidewalk, lifting heavy items, moving chairs etc.)
