Job summary

Blue Ridge Professional Cleaning, LLC is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You will perform vacuuming, mopping, restroom scrubbing, carpet shampooing, and basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs and emptying trash.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of janitorial experience, familiarity with cleaning equipment, and a strong work ethic. A valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is required to access multiple worksites.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
